Take it from us, long-distance relationships can work. Business interactions went interactive in early 2020 as the Covid-19 pandemic put face-to-face communications on hold. Like companies across the world, New Millennium embraced this new reality of virtual collaboration. We’re still building a better steel experience, we’re just doing it a little bit differently. Now it’s all about interface-to-interface communication.
From live remote training and online education to virtual trade shows and interactive design tools, we are focused on building collaborative relationships with our customers. While we may be physically apart, we can successfully work together.
These new ways of doing business won’t go away even when the pandemic does. We’ll continue to offer these virtual collaboration and steel building systems resources and tools so we can continue to build success together.
In-person industry trade shows have been a cornerstone of the structural steel industry for decades—with the NASCC: The Steel Conference among the most prominent. In 2021, New Millennium will again participate in the virtual trade show with an interactive booth and live remote presentations showcasing our steel joists, joist girders, steel deck, and long-span composite floor and roof systems.
We know the key to a successful building project requires building relationships, trust and a spirit of collaboration with our peers.
Two of our education specialists will take center stage during the show, leading presentations on long-span composite systems in multi-family and hospitality and steel joists and deck in a challenging gymnasium project.
11:35 a.m. CDT Monday, April 12, 2021
Structural Game Changer: Engineering a large-scale steel joist challenge.
A case study in creative engineering, this gymnasium project tipped off with large-scale steel joist and deck challenges.
2:35 p.m. CDT Thursday, April 15, 2021
Multifamily and Hospitality: Benefits of long-span composite floor systems.
Case studies will demonstrate the exceptional structural performance achievable in multi-story construction.
Continuing education continues. Professional development is important for everyone in the structural steel industry. Advancements, changing standards and newly emerging best practices mean what you thought you knew might not be true anymore.
Our education specialists have comprehensive knowledge of steel buildings systems. They are available on demand for live remote training for you or your team. These hour-long, credit-hour courses are customized to your needs. You’ll earn career-advancing AIA LU/HSW or PDH credit as you learn career-enhancing skills.
To facilitate design and specification of your next project, we have a suite of online interactive design tools just a click away. These tools can help you reduce project costs, improve project performance, facilitate project specification and accelerate project timelines.
Providing everything you need to build a better steel experience, our design tools enable you to generate load and diaphragm tables, design drawings and specifications, and 3D BIM solutions.
Updated to the latest industry standards for roof deck, composite deck and form deck, our deck tools can deliver more than 65,000 design possibilities. For steel joists and joist girders, our interactive tools make specification for your unique project convenient, resulting in cost efficiencies and performance improvements.
Access 3,400 downloadable steel deck design drawings and specifications. Offering both PDFs and DWGs, this design tool facilitates specification of steel deck and visually shows you how your project will come together.
Our free BIM downloads offer solutions and models for both Revit® and Tekla® software. Find steel joist and deck configurations, specifications, material components and design requirements to improve the design of your building, reduce project costs and support a faster-to-market timeline.
Virtually connect with our education specialists and obtain professional training to build your steel building systems knowledge. You can earn career-advancing AIA LU/HSW or PDH credit as you learn career-enhancing skills.
